This is Next To Blue's debut album. In releasing this project he has circled back to his roots and crafted a story encompassing his otherworldly sound design and transformative arrangements. Each of the tracks in Apollyon depict their own chapter in a story with a hand drawn symbol representing each one. These symbols on the cover are placed as the hours of a clock from tracks 1-12. Certain songs such as Kiki are sparkly and lighthearted while some like trails are charged with emotion. The album title “Apollyon” is named after the Angel of death which is represented by the ghost in the cover, forthcoming angel lung music video, and various photos surrounding the project.
